The design brief was simple – take Tiderace’s best selling model and add some of the “new thinking” to create the next generation of stable rough water performing kayaks. This latest ‘compact boat format’ saves weight and makes full use of the waterline length.

The computer designed hull is specifically shaped to take advantage of the precise direction control gained by incorporating a rudder. These features allow more power to be directed into forward propulsion in rough water. It retains the signature Tiderace cockpit design and dynamic paddling position within a new styled deck shape which increases overall boat stiffness and water-shedding properties.
